Defining Running Intensity Domains from Critical Speed Derived from a 3-Minute All-Out Running Test
Background/Objectives: This study examines the utility of the 3-min all-out test (3MT) in determining exercise intensity domains through critical speed (CS), offering a practical alternative to traditional VO2max-based methods.

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

The Impact of Hollow Wear on the Stability of High-Speed Railway Vehicles
Hollow wear on wheels is a common form of surface damage often observed in high-velocity vehicles. It is widely recognized that hollow wear of the wheel tread degrades the dynamic performance of rail vehicles, especially in the issue commonly referred to

Depinning transitions in discrete reaction-diffusion equations
We consider spatially discrete bistable reaction-diffusion equations that admit wave front solutions. Depending on the parameters involved, such wave fronts appear to be pinned or to glide at a certain speed. We study the transition of traveling waves to
