Assessment of Molecular Diversity in Biofuel Crops

2021
Sustainable biofuel sources require the new sources of biofuel crops that can be developed into scalable plantation to meet the growing energy demands. Diverse supply sources of bioenergy plantations (edible, nonedible, and perennial grasses) will enable de-risking impact on geography and climate change that humans are likely to face in future.

Benefits of cover crops as diverse as the crops themselves

Crops & Soils, 2016
As the practice of including cereal cover crops in crop rotations has become commonplace across the Mid‐Atlantic, ongoing research shows that cereals are not the only cover crops that provide useful agro‐ecosystem services. And the benefits they provide are nearly as diverse as the crops themselves.

Crop Production and Crop Diversity in France: A Spatial Analysis

Ecological Economics, 2017
This paper aims to provide empirical evidence of the effect of crop diversity on crop production and spillover effect. Based on the estimation of production functions with spatial concerns on an original and rich dataset, results of the study suggest that crop diversity has a positive and significant effect on crop production. Its marginal contribution

CROPPING DIVERSITY AND FARM PROGRAMS

2000
Cropping diversity along the United States - Canada border of the Great Plains has not been dominated by either country. U.S. wheat policies impacted diversity in both countries through price and in the U.S. by acreage reduction programs. In the 1990s, cropping diversity increased in Canada and declined in the U.S. Since the 1996 U.S.
