Water Consumption Characteristics of Sugarcane in Dry-Hot Region under Climate Change
The analysis of the sugarcane water requirement regulation at different temporal scale can provide a basis for optimal water management. Based on the daily meteorological observation data in Yuanmou dry-hot region during 1956-2010, sugarcane water ...

Arsenic accumulation in crops in relation to their water requirement
A pot experiment was conducted to study the transfer of arsenic (As) from soil to plant and to know the relation between arsenic accumulation and water requirement. The plants BR-29, BR-28, Red amaranthus (Lalshak) and Ipomoea aquatica (Kalmishak) were selected for this experiment.

The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

14‐day casting‐induced immobilization reduced gastrocnemius muscle mass and increased non‐heme iron and ferritin heavy chain levels. Despite iron accumulation, transferrin receptor 1 and iron regulatory protein 2 were paradoxically upregulated. Lipid peroxidation was elevated without compensatory antioxidant responses.

Water cycle and people: water for feeding humanity
The distinction of ‘blue’ (liquid) and ‘green’ (vapour) water flow is introduced to make possible an assessment of water flows to be appropriated for future food production.

5‐Aminolevulinic acid combined with ferric ammonium citrate (5‐ALA/FAC) stimulates dermal papilla cell activity and promotes hair follicle growth. The treatment enhances ERK and AKT signaling, increases hair‐inductive gene expression, and restores dermal papilla function suppressed by dihydrotestosterone and oxidative stress, resulting in enhanced hair
