Abstract Electron microscopy studies of crosslinked polyethylenes show that with increasing crosslinking conventional superstructures, their nucleation density and the nature of lamellae are greatly modified. With increasing crosslinking, the growth of spherulites is suppressed producing sheaves and ultimately bundles of lamellae.

Determination of effective crosslink density in silicone rubber
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 1965Abstract As a result of the investigations reported here, a simple and precise method was evised to measure the compression-deflection of solvent-swollen silicone rubber. The method was found to be reliable, and the resultant data were used to calculate effective crosslink densities of solid and cellular silicone rubber compounds.

Crosslink density and fracture toughness of epoxy resins
Journal of Materials Science, 1991A series of networks of diverse crosslink density were prepared using bifunctional epoxide prepolymers of different molecular weight, crosslinked with diamine diphenyl sulphone, and their fracture behaviour investigated. Crosslinking density and resorption of dimethyl suberimidate‐treated collagen
Journal of Biomedical Materials Research, 1997Collagen was purified from bovine Achilles tendon and crosslinked with dimethyl suberimidate (DMS) and glutaraldehyde (GTA). Under optimal conditions, the shrinkage temperature (Ts) was raised to 74 degrees C for collagen crosslinked with DMS and to 80 degrees C for those crosslinked with GTA.
