Singlet-triplet transition in a lateral quantum dot [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We study transport through a lateral quantum dot in the vicinity of the singlet-triplet transition in its ground state. This transition, being sharp in an isolated dot, is broadened to a crossover by the exchange interaction of the dot electrons with the

Micropatterned Biphasic Printed Electrodes for High‐Fidelity on‐Skin Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Micropatterned biphasic printed electrodes achieve unprecedented skin conformity and low impedance by combining liquid‐metal droplets with microstructured 3D lattices. This scalable approach enables high‐fidelity detection of ECG, EMG, and EEG signals, including alpha rhythms from the forehead, with long‐term comfort and stability.

Evolution of pairing from weak to strong coupling on a honeycomb lattice [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We study the evolution of the pairing from weak to strong coupling on a honeycomb lattice by Quantum Monte Carlo. We show numerical evidence of the BCS-BEC crossover as the coupling strength increases on a honeycomb lattice with small fermi surface by ...

Bio‐Responsive Hydrogel for Targeted on‐Demand Release of a Phage Cocktail for Treatment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Infection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents an injectable hydrogel that responds to Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection by releasing a dual‐phage cocktail on demand. The system degrades selectively in infected wounds, enhances phage localization and stability, and shows potent antibiofilm activity and biocompatibility in an ex vivo human skin model—offering a promising strategy ...

Association between Ambient Temperature and Hospitalization for Renal Diseases in Brazil during 2000–2015: A Nationwide Case-Crossover Study

open access: yesThe Lancet Regional Health. Americas, 2022
Summary: Background: Climate change is increasing the risks of injuries, diseases, and deaths globally. However, the association between ambient temperature and renal diseases has not been fully characterized.

Correlated electron transport through double quantum dots coupled to normal and superconducting leads

open access: yes, 2010
We study Andreev transport through double quantum dots connected in series normal and superconducting (SC) leads, using the numerical renormalization group.

Magnetic‐Field Tuning of the Spin Dynamics in the Quasi‐2D Van der Waals Antiferromagnet CuCrP2S6

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals 2D character of the spin dynamics in CuCrP2S6, as well as complex field dependence of collective excitations in the antiferromagnetically ordered state. Their remarkable tuning from the antiferromagnetic to the ferromagnetic type with magnetic field, together with the non‐degeneracy of the magnon gaps favorable for the induction of ...
