A simulation model for crowd evacuation of fire emergency scenario [PDF]
Human safety is an important issue when handling the crowd evacuation in order to avoid death and injuries. Human behavior changes from normal to panic behavior when they are in an emergency scenario such as building on fire.

The Feasibility Test of Electric Propulsion Systems: Case Study for a Light and Fixed‐Wing Aircraft
ABSTRACT This study investigates the feasibility and performance of a fully electric propulsion system (EPS) integrated into a light fixed‐wing aircraft. The system consists of a 65 kW‐class electric motor, a high‐efficiency inverter, and dual lithium‐ion battery packs with a total capacity of 27 kWh—collectively engineered to fulfill both power ...

Wildfire evacuation modelling of tourist campsites
Wildfires pose a serious risk to tourist campsites in the wildland-urban interface, where evacuation can be challenging due to limited access and transient populations.

Caribou forage lichens were present in post‐burn lodgepole pine stands multiple decades before stem‐density was likely open enough to attract wintering caribou. We posit that the prolonged self‐thinning of lodgepole pine after fire may be a greater limiting factor than lichen abundance for habitat recovery in lodgepole pine forests.

Modeling Group Structures With Emotion in Crowd Evacuation
Simulation on crowd evacuation has attracted plenty of attention in the past few years. Emotion plays a significant role in human decision making processes and on the behaviors during the evacuation.

Study on evacuation simulation under crowd-diversion condition
With the increasing number of domestic buildings, the importance of safety evacuation in case of fire in the buildings has been aware. Occupants in a building will crowd at exit(s) when they evacuate in disasters.

Simulation of Evacuating Crowd Based on Deep Learning and Social Force Model
It is always difficult to evacuate crowds in public places like subway stations. The traditional crowd behavior simulation models often ignore two important issues in crowd evacuation: pedestrian tracking and individual differences. To solve the problem,
