The crustal juvenile and reworking in eastern Tibet due to tectonism and magmatism

open access: yesScientific Reports
Crustal thickening in Tibet results from the collision of India and Eurasia. The fine structure of the crust is vital information to detect the tectonic genesis of crustal growth and reworking.

Deep tectonics and seismogenic mechanisms of the seismic source zone of the Jishishan Ms 6.2 earthquake on December 18, 2023, at the northeast margin of the Tibetan Plateau

open access: yesEarth and Planetary Physics
On December 18, 2023, an Ms 6.2 earthquake occurred in Jishishan, Gansu Province, China. This earthquake happened in the eastern region of the Qilian Orogenic Belt, which is situated at the forefront of the NE margin of the Tibetan Plateau (i.e., Qinghai–

Nanga Parbat crustal anisotropy: Implications for interpretation of crustal velocity structure and shear‐wave splitting

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, 2001
The Nanga Parbat‐Haramosh massif represents a unique exposure of mid‐lower continental crust from beneath the Himalayan orogen. Seismic velocity measurements on a suite of quartzofeldspathic gneisses show up to 12.5% velocity anisotropy for compressional waves and up to 21% for shear waves.

The Spatiotemporal Genetic Architecture of Seed Vigor in Upland Cotton

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Leveraging the semi‐automated SeedRanger platform, we profiled the germination kinetics of 356 cotton accessions at a 30‐min interval. This high‐throughput phenomic approach delineated a temporal genetic network comprising 541 stage‐specific loci. Crucially, functional validation identified FLA2 as a pivotal, auxin‐modulated regulator that orchestrates

Intrinsic Dual‐Phase Regulated GeSe2 Nanoparticles Triggered by Ball‐Milling Treatment for Photonic Multi‐Valued Logic Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report the solid‐state ball milling, a traditional, reliable, mass‐productive material processing, to prepare the air‐stable and dual‐phase GeSe2‐x nanoparticles with extended photodetection feasibility toward optical‐wavelength regions. We further display photonic multi‐valued logic (MVL) circuit through the employment of a hybrid PMMA/GeSe2‐x ...
