The Coral Host Microbiome Modulates the Virulence of the Bacterial Pathogen Vibrio coralliilyticus
The coral microbiome has been shown to protect the host (bottom right panel), but dysbiosis can increase susceptibility to infection by the bacterial pathogen Vibrio coralliilyticus. Treatment of Montipora capitata coral with antibiotics induced dysbiosis, which increased infection rates of less pathogenic V. coralliilyticus strains.

Spatial Transcriptomic Characteristics of the Aging Human Ovary
Troughing constructing a comprehensive spatiotemporal aging atlas on young and aged human ovaries, we revealed distinct cell types, cellular interactions, and aging‐associated gene expression changes due to aging. Specially, we detected an increase in DLK1:NOTCH3 expression which may contribute to the dysregulation of ovarian functions.

Abstract Background Classic Klinefelter syndrome (KS) is characterized by one extra X chromosome (47, XXY), leading to hypergonadotropic hypogonadism and higher risk of alterations in glycolipid homeostasis, cardiovascular diseases, and low bone mineral density. Most frequently, KS is diagnosed in adulthood because of infertility.
