Quantifying the Single‐Cell Morphological Landscape of Cellular Transdifferentiation through Force Field Reconstruction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 1, 5 January 2026.
This study reconstructs the driving force field of fibroblast‐to‐neuron transdifferentiation from sparse single‐cell images by decomposing it into flux and time‐dependent potential gradient, extending the landscape‐flux framework to non‐steady‐state systems.

Combining Adipose‐Derived Stromal Cell Spheroids and Melt Electrowritten Scaffolds for a 3D Adipose Model Mimicking Structure and Function of Fat Tissue

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, Volume 6, Issue 1, January 2026.
A 3D adipose tissue model is fabricated by combining melt electrowritten scaffolds with multicellular adipose‐derived stromal cell spheroids. The resulting constructs are characterized by a coherent, tissue‐like matrix. The lipid droplet size is tunable by oleic acid supplementation, reaching native‐like diameters.

Pollen cryobanking at the USDA‐ARS National Laboratory for Genetic Resources Preservation

open access: yesCrop Science, Volume 66, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
Abstract The USDA‐ARS National Laboratory for Genetic Resources Preservation (NLGRP) has developed a pollen cryobank that currently conserves desiccation‐tolerant pollen for six crops within the USDA National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS): Carya (pecan), Corylus (hazelnut), Juglans (walnut), Phoenix (date), Pistacia (pistachio), and Prunus (stone ...
