Prediction of the three-phase boundary movement in Czochralski crystal growth
A numerical algorithm is presented which allows three-dimensional time-dependent simulations of Czochralski and other crystal growth processes. Besides the computation of turbulent flow and heat transfer in the melt, it includes the movement of the ...

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Crystal growth of superconducting LiTi2O4
Crystals of LiTi2O4, a member (s = 1) of the hypothetical LisTi(III)4-3sTi(IV)2s-1O4 (0.50≤s≤1.33) spi nel series, were grown by two methods: electrolysis (30 mA, 100 mV) of a bath containing a suspension of TiO2 (anatase) in molten LiBO2, and chemical ...

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Magnetic field design for floating zone crystal growth
The magnetic fields produced by electrical coils are designed for P-doped Si crystal growth in a floating full zone in microgravity environment. The fields are designed specially to reduce the how near the free surface and then in the melt zone by ...

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Crystal structure of poly[[μ2-diaqua-diaqua-μ2-l-proline-κ2O:O′-strontium] dibromide]
In the title coordination polymer, {[Sr(C5H9NO2)(H2O)4]Br2}n, the proline molecule exists in a zwitterionic form with one of the ring C atoms disordered over two sites [site-occupancy factors = 0.57 (6):0.43 (6)].
