Laser-induced color centers in crystals
Optics & Laser Technology, 2022Abstract Color centers are widely used in quantum information, quantum sensing, micro-nano optics and other relevant fields. In addition to the traditional ways that can generate color centers, for instance, ion beam implantation, direct laser writing (DLW) technology has recently emerged as an appealing alternative to induce color centers because it

Diffractometric crystal centering
Journal of Applied Crystallography, 1999A general formalism for centering a single-crystal on a four-circle diffractometer, based on the setting angles of reflections, is presented. The minimum information for the determination of crystal displacement are the diffractometer setting angles of two reciprocal vectors. The method is independent of the crystallographic system and does not require

Manipulating NV centers with Optomechanical Crystals
CLEO: 2013, 2013Nanophotonic optomechanical devices allow efficient control of localized, high quality factor, nanoscale mechanical resonances. By optically actuating these resonances, the properties of embedded diamond nitrogen vacancy centers can be modulated with far off resonance photons.
