Beyond crystallography: diffractive imaging using coherent x-ray light sources [PDF]
X-ray crystallography has been central to the development of many fields of science over the past century. It has now matured to a point that as long as good-quality crystals are available, their atomic structure can be routinely determined in three ...

We developed a novel copper‐doped aluminum nano‐adjuvant (CuNA) to overcome cytarabine resistance in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). CuNA effectively sensitizes drug‐resistant AML cells to cytarabine by inducing mitochondrial dysfunction and inhibiting HMGCR/GPX4 to amplify ferroptosis.

Activation and regioselectivity of five-membered cyclic thionocarbamates to nucleophilic attack [PDF]
The cyclic thionocarbamate of alaninol undergoes nucleophilic attack by sulfur nucleophiles at 5-C to give 1-thiopropyl-2-amine derivatives when derivatised on nitrogen with a Boc group.

4-Cyano-3-fluorophenyl 4-(hexadecyloxy)benzoate
In the title compound, C30H40FNO3, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 57.76 (7)°. The alkyl chain adopts an all-trans conformation. In the crystal, molecules are linked by pairs of C—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers.
