TAXON, 1985SummaryThe existing lectotypification of C. sativus L. has been examined. The choice of lectotype, based on the phrase name of C. sativus, is questioned. It is proposed that this lectotype is rejected and superseded by the designation of a new lectotype, based on a specimen of C. sativus L. from the Burser Herbarium (UPS).
