MnSe solubility in α-CuInSe2

The manganese monoselenide solubility in α-CuInSe2 has been determined by studying phase equilibria in the CuInSe2-MnSe system using differential thermal analysis, x-ray diffraction, microstructural analysis, and microhardness measurements. At room temperature, the α-CuInSe2-based solid solution extends to 46 mol % MnSe.

Lattice vibrations in CuInSe2 crystals

Infrared reflection spectra of CuInSe2 crystals are investigated for the polarizations E∥c and E⊥c. Contours of the reflection spectra are calculated and phonon parameters and dielectric constants are determined. The effective charges of the Cu, In, and Se ions in these materials are determined.

Observation of CuPt-ordered CuInSe2

Long-range order of the CuPt type has been observed in the I-III-VI2 material CuInSe2. The ordering was observed by transmission electron diffraction and by high resolution transmission electron microscopy. Comparison with simulated images confirms the CuPt-type ordering and shows the high degree of ordering.

Some properties of CuInSe2

Optička i električna svojstva poluvodičkog spoja CuInSe2 prikazana su u kao mogućnost korištenja tog spoja kao kandidata za nove solarne ćelije. To se posebno odnosi na moguću tehnologiju tankog filma zbog velikog koeficijenta apsorpcije, dobre stabilnosti i relativno velike efikasnosti pretvorbe sunčeve energije u električnu (cca 8%).

Фотолюминесценция монокристаллов CuInSe2

В настоящей работе исследования проводились на монокристаллах CuInSe2, выращенных вертикальным методом Бриджмена. Элементный состав по данным рентгеноспектрального микроанализа с волновой дисперсией оказался близким к идеальной стехиометрии и составил: Cu ~ 25.2, In ~ 24.9 и Se ~ 49.9.

One Step Electrodeposition of CuInSe2

Copper Indium diselenide (CIS) was prepared by one step electrodeposition from an aqueous citric acid plating bath. Chemical analysis of the films were carried out in order to relate the composition of the films to the main parameters of the deposition process: deposition potential and solution composition.
