Determination of Frequency and Distribution of Hessian Fly (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) Biotypes in the Northeastern Soft Wheat Region [PDF]
Fifteen collections of Hessian flies from the northern soft winter wheat region of the United States were used to determine the composition and frequency of biotypes. The wheat cultivars \u27Seneca\u27 (H7Hs), \u27Monon\u27 (H3), \u27Knox 62\u27 (~, H7Hg)

Yield and predicted feed quality of different German cultivars of blue lupins (Lupinus angustifolius) [PDF]
In the present work different cultivars of blue lupins were tested at two sites, the experimental farm of the Institute of Organic Farming (IOF-site) at Trenthorst near Hamburg and the experimental station of the Institute of Plant and Soil Science (ICSS-

This study identifies a novel thermoregulatory mechanism in rice: TOGR3 partners with 26S proteasome subunits, including TT1, to drive thermoresponsive ubiquitin–proteasome activity, maintaining sugar homeostasis in stomatal regulation to balance growth and stress resistance.

ABSTRACT Precise transgene‐free gene upregulation remains a challenge in crop biotechnology, as conventional enhancers often exceed CRISPR‐mediated knock‐in size constraints and face regulatory hurdles. Here we establish a foundational cross‐species resource of compact transcriptional enhancers developed via STEM‐seq, a high‐throughput screening ...

Genome‐Wide Association Analyses Reveal the Genetic Basis of EMS Mutagenesis Efficiency in Rice
Based on large‐scale screening of 420 rice accessions, GWAS identified the Rc locus as a key regulator of EMS mutagenesis efficiency. Functional Rc alleles enhance both seed survival and genome‐wide mutation frequency by boosting antioxidant enzyme activities (CAT, SOD, POD) and reducing oxidative damage.
