(γ,γ’,γ’’‐Trifluoro)neopentyl (TFNP) aryl ethers are prepared as a new motif from tosylate 3. The motif has a preferred ‘propellar’ conformation which can adopt left or right handed twists. LogP's are lower than tert‐butyl analogues. Interactions between TFNP groups in the solid state are shown to also anchor supramolecular architectures.
