A novel biomimetic liposome drug delivery system mediated by macrophage targeting for precision treatment of encephalitis

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
An advanced macrophage‐mediated biomimetic liposome (AC‐LP@RAW) that can penetrate the BBB and precisely target inflammatory sites in the deep brain was established in this study based on the unique immune homing property of macrophages, and showed a significantly improved delivery of curcumin to the brain.

Ultrasmall Fe‐curcumin immunomodulators reinvigorate CAR‐T cells to potentiate solid tumor immunotherapy by mitigating cell exhaustion and senescence

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
This work discovered a novel research that ultrasmall Fe‐curcumin immunomodulators could reinvigorate CAR‐T cells to potentiate solid tumor immunotherapy by mitigating cell exhaustion and senescence. Abstract CAR‐T cell immunotherapy has achieved exciting success in hematologic malignancies, but the therapeutic efficacy is relatively limited in solid ...

BIOAVAILABILITY OF CURCUMIN AND METHODS OF ITS ENHANCING

open access: yesРазработка и регистрация лекарственных средств, 2019
Curcumin is a hydrophobic polyphenolic compound of natural origin. Curcumin has a wide range of pharmacological effects. Curcumin is inherently poorly absorbed when ingested and has low bioavailability, in part due to a low rate of absorption in the ...

Tackling cancer stemness with nanotechnology in the era of precision medicine

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Precise customization of nanoparticles (NPs) enables active targeting of cancer stem cells (CSCs), thereby improving drug delivery and therapeutic efficacy. NP‐based probing enhances CSC detection through imaging and liquid biopsy, whereas diverse therapeutic payloads improve therapeutic outcomes.

Curcumin-Induced G2/M Cell Cycle Arrest in Colorectal Cancer Cells

open access: yes, 2011
Curcumin, a diet-derived chemopreventive and chemotherapeutic agent has been shown to induce G2/M cell cycle arrest, and previous studies suggested that microtubule depolymerisation may be linked to M-phase arrest.
