FoxO1 signaling in B cell malignancies and its therapeutic targeting

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FoxO1 has context‐specific tumor suppressor or oncogenic character in myeloid and B cell malignancies. This includes tumor‐promoting properties such as stemness maintenance and DNA damage tolerance in acute leukemias, or regulation of cell proliferation and survival, or migration in mature B cell malignancies.

In-Situ and Laboratory Investigation on Leaching and Effects of Early Curing of Shotcrete

open access: yesNordic Concrete Research, 2019
During the construction of a rock tunnel in Stockholm, several sections with leaching shotcrete (sprayed concrete) were found one year after the spraying was completed. An investigation was therefore conducted, and its results are presented in this paper.

A Practical Approach for Data Gathering for Polymer Cure Simulations

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
Producing precision parts requires good control of the production parameters. When casting thermoset polymers an understanding of the curing process, with its heat release and associated temperature changes, is important.

Effect of Selected Plant Extracts and Curing on Post-Harvest Quality of Onion (Allium cepa L.)

open access: yesAgroEnvironmental Sustainability, 2023
Onion (Allium cepa L.) suffers a rapid deterioration in quality during storage due to physiological changes and pathological damage. This experiment evaluated the effects of different plant extracts and curing days on the postharvest quality of onion ...

Cork-resin ablative insulation for complex surfaces and method for applying the same [PDF]

open access: yes, 1980
A method of applying cork-resin ablative insulation material to complex curved surfaces is disclosed. The material is prepared by mixing finely divided cork with a B-stage curable thermosetting resin, forming the resulting mixture into a block, B-stage ...

Recent advances in bio‐based epoxy resins and bio‐based epoxy curing agents

open access: yes, 2016
The combination of awareness of harmful industrial processes and environmental issues and depleting petroleum-based resources has spurred much research in developing materials from renewable sources. Epoxy resins are common pre-polymers used in a variety

Light curing in dentistry and clinical implications: a literature review.

open access: yesBrazilian Oral Research, 2017
Contemporary dentistry literally cannot be performed without use of resin-based restorative materials. With the success of bonding resin materials to tooth structures, an even wider scope of clinical applications has arisen for these lines of products ...

Insights into PI3K/AKT signaling in B cell development and chronic lymphocytic leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Review explores how the phosphoinositide 3‐kinase and protein kinase B pathway shapes B cell development and drives chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a common blood cancer. It examines how signaling levels affect disease progression, addresses treatment challenges, and introduces novel experimental strategies to improve therapies and patient outcomes.
