Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

Current mode chaos generator

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1997
A new chaos generator that uses the second generation current conveyor (CCII) as the active building block and produces a chaotic current output signal is introduced. The procedure of obtaining the generator by modifying a current mode sinusoidal oscillator using a nonlinear resistor of antisymmetrical current voltage characteristics is emphasised. The

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Carbon Nanotube Based Delay Model For High Speed Energy Efficient on Chip Data Transmission Using: Current Mode Technique

open access: yes, 2014
Speed is a major concern for high density VLSI networks. In this paper the closed form delay model for current mode signalling in VLSI interconnects has been proposed with resistive load termination. RLC interconnect line is modelled using characteristic

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

New Single VDCC-based Explicit Current-Mode SRCO Employing All Grounded Passive Components [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics, 2014
This paper proposes a new single resistance controlled sinusoidal oscillator (SRCO) which employs only one voltage differencing current conveyor (VDCC), two grounded resistors and two grounded capacitors.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Topics in multiple-loop regulators and current-mode programming [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
Some general considerations about multiple-loop feedback are discussed, and it is concluded that incorporation of a current-programmed power stage into a "new" power stage model is both justified and useful.
