Current-mode differential wave active filters

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, 2005
A technique for obtaining differential active filters suitable for integrated circuit implementation is presented. These filters, based on current-mode differential-wave active blocks, can operate at high frequencies. The cutoff frequency can by tuned by the bias current.

Novel voltage- and current-mode filter design

Asia-Pacific Conference on Circuits and Systems, 2003
Demonstrates a new method of active RC filter and oscillator design using modern current-mode circuit elements like general current conveyors (GCCs) and universal current conveyors (UCCs). Several new filter circuits with simulations using SPICE software are presented.

Current-mode Active-only Universal Filter

APCCAS 2006 - 2006 IEEE Asia Pacific Conference on Circuits and Systems, 2006
A universal current-mode active-only filter using the biquadratic transfer function is proposed. The proposed circuit is realized by minimized active-only components count without external passive elements. The different kinds of filter function as lowpass, highpass, bandpass and band-reject response can be obtained without changing circuit topology ...

A general class of current mode filters

1993 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002
A new class of nonlinear analog filters with linear input-output response is proposed. These filters are an extension of the recently introduced 'log filter' class. By virtue of the small node voltage excursions, these filters share the current mode characteristic of log filters.

Current-Mode Filters

2014
Voltage-mode filters and especially their linearity and dynamic range suffer from the low supply voltages of deep-sub-micron and nanometer CMOS. This fact served as motivation to investigate current-mode filters with the hope for a better linearity and larger dynamic range. Current-mode filters also may allow saving of current-to-voltage and voltage-to-

Current-mode state-variable filter

Frequenz, 2008
A flexible synthesis procedure for electronically tunable nth-order current-mode (CM) universal filter using state variable-method is given. The proposed configuration uses n+1 multi-output second generation current conveyors (MO-CCIIs), n capacitors and n resistors.

Current-mode multiple-feedback filters

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 1993
A different class of operational-amplifier-based biquadratic filters, the infinite-gain multiple-feedback filters, is transformed into its current version. This class has so far eluded any such transformation because the operational-amplifier is configured without resistive feedback loop. The current-mode multiple-feedback filters contain also a single

Current mode biquadratic universal filter

2015 IEEE Asia Pacific Conference on Postgraduate Research in Microelectronics and Electronics (PrimeAsia), 2015
A current mode universal filter using current controlled differential difference current conveyor transconductance amplifier (CCDDCCTA) is discussed. The filter provides important and desirable features : (i) Uses only one CCDDCCTA and two capacitors, (ii) One can get low pass (LP), band pass (BP), high pass (HP), notch (NF) and all pass (AP) current ...

Log-domain filtering: an approach to current-mode filtering

IEE Proceedings G Circuits, Devices and Systems, 1993
A novel approach to filter design, based on Adams' [1] ‘log-domain’ filters, is proposed that yields a truly current-mode circuit realisation. Adams' idea, which was introduced in a limited context, is generalised to permit a complete distortionless synthesis procedure, which results in circuit implementations readily realisable using complementary ...
