Current controlled resistance

2017 9th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI), 2017
This paper presents an application of operational transconductance amplifiers (OTA), namely a simulated resistance made with OTA. Its value can be controlled by the current polarization of the operational transconductance amplifier. It is also presented an immediate application of the simulated resistance, namely the low-pass filter.

Average Current Control with Asymmetrical Sawtooth or Peak Current Control

2019 European Space Power Conference (ESPC), 2019
Conductance control within SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply) is typically implemented relying either on the ACC (Average Current Control) or on the PCC (Peak Current Control) technique. An in-depth analysis of the PCC dynamics has been published in the past, highlighting that such technique responds to a feedback control loop scheme covered by Laplace ...

Bidirectional current-controlled PTAT current source

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 1994
In this paper a new current-source proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) is introduced. It is adjustable and does not require any starting current. The circuit is obtained from a mixed translinear loop of only four transistors. A first generation current conveyor is added in order to obtain a floating output current.

A current controlled CMOS current amplifier

2017 5th International Symposium on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ISEEE), 2017
A new circuit solution for current controlled current amplification is proposed. The basic idea of the circuit is to use a DC current in order to induce an unbalance on the VGS loop of a current mirror. It is demonstrated that the input-output amplification is controlled by a DC current.

Current Measles Control in Tanzania

Clinical Infectious Diseases, 1983
Measles is one of the major public health problems in Tanzania and is recognized as such by the population. Since 1975 measles vaccination has been given as part of the national expanded immunization program. On the basis of the findings of measles surveys and a vaccination trial, the policy of vaccination at six months of age has been changed to that ...

Current Status of Malaria Control

Current Medicinal Chemistry, 2005
Malaria caused by Plasmodium parasites kills approximately 1-3 million people and causes disease in 300-500 million people annually throughout the world. The current approaches to curtail this disease include vector control, vaccination, immunotherapy and chemotherapy.

Current Mode Control

1997
As pointed out in Chapter 6, the conventional PWM converters are in essence feedback control systems and can therefore be treated accordingly with the available analytical tools, provided some additional steps are taken. The major theme of these types of treatments center, in almost all cases, around two performance merits: output voltage DC regulation

Current approaches to myopia control

Current Opinion in Ophthalmology, 2017
Myopia is a global problem, being particularly prevalent in the urban areas of east and southeast Asia. In addition to the direct economic and social burdens, associated ocular complications may lead to substantial vision loss. With prevalence of myopia above 80% and high myopia over 20%, it is crucial to control myopia.

Current Control of Angle Controlled STATCOM

2007 39th North American Power Symposium, 2007
Voltage source converter (VSC) based STATCOM (synchronous static compensator) is used for voltage regulation in transmission and distribution systems. Over-currents and trips of the STATCOM during and after system faults or harmonic distortions may occur in STATCOM without PWM control.

Current Trends in Population Control

Fertility and Sterility, 1964
In the face of the constant growth of population the only hope is a reduction in the number of births. The author reviews what has been done to achieve this in terms of current efforts in Japan India and China and developments in contraceptive methodology.
