CONTROL OF M-CURRENT

Annual Review of Physiology, 1997
▪ Abstract  M-current is a non-inactivating potassium current found in many neuronal cell types. In each cell type, it is dominant in controlling membrane excitability by being the only sustained current in the range of action potential initiation.

Current-Programmed Control

2001
So far, we have discussed duty ratio control of PWM converters, in which the converter output is controlled by direct choice of the duty ratio d(t). We have therefore developed expressions and small-signal transfer functions that relate the converter waveforms and output voltage to the duty ratio.

Average Current Control with Asymmetrical Sawtooth or Peak Current Control

2019 European Space Power Conference (ESPC), 2019
Conductance control within SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply) is typically implemented relying either on the ACC (Average Current Control) or on the PCC (Peak Current Control) technique. An in-depth analysis of the PCC dynamics has been published in the past, highlighting that such technique responds to a feedback control loop scheme covered by Laplace ...

Current controlled resistance

2017 9th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI), 2017
This paper presents an application of operational transconductance amplifiers (OTA), namely a simulated resistance made with OTA. Its value can be controlled by the current polarization of the operational transconductance amplifier. It is also presented an immediate application of the simulated resistance, namely the low-pass filter.

CMOS Current-controlled Oscillators

2007 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2007
The work presented in this paper is about the design of current-controlled oscillators (ICO). Two ICOs are proposed. Aiming at reducing the duration of the short-circuit currents caused by slowly-changing voltages in the circuits, signal conversion blocks are introduced to generate sharp pulses.

Current Measles Control in Tanzania

Clinical Infectious Diseases, 1983
Measles is one of the major public health problems in Tanzania and is recognized as such by the population. Since 1975 measles vaccination has been given as part of the national expanded immunization program. On the basis of the findings of measles surveys and a vaccination trial, the policy of vaccination at six months of age has been changed to that ...

Current Status of Malaria Control

Current Medicinal Chemistry, 2005
Malaria caused by Plasmodium parasites kills approximately 1-3 million people and causes disease in 300-500 million people annually throughout the world. The current approaches to curtail this disease include vector control, vaccination, immunotherapy and chemotherapy.

Current approaches to myopia control

Current Opinion in Ophthalmology, 2017
Myopia is a global problem, being particularly prevalent in the urban areas of east and southeast Asia. In addition to the direct economic and social burdens, associated ocular complications may lead to substantial vision loss. With prevalence of myopia above 80% and high myopia over 20%, it is crucial to control myopia.
