THE CURRENT STATUS OF THE CONTROL OF INFLUENZA
Annals of Internal Medicine, 1955Excerpt It has been my privilege on several occasions in the past 20 years to review before The American College of Physicians the status of knowledge of influenza.

Current Measles Control in Tanzania
Clinical Infectious Diseases, 1983Measles is one of the major public health problems in Tanzania and is recognized as such by the population. Since 1975 measles vaccination has been given as part of the national expanded immunization program. On the basis of the findings of measles surveys and a vaccination trial, the policy of vaccination at six months of age has been changed to that ...

Current Status of Malaria Control
Current Medicinal Chemistry, 2005Malaria caused by Plasmodium parasites kills approximately 1-3 million people and causes disease in 300-500 million people annually throughout the world. The current approaches to curtail this disease include vector control, vaccination, immunotherapy and chemotherapy.

Current Trends in Population Control
Fertility and Sterility, 1964In the face of the constant growth of population the only hope is a reduction in the number of births. The author reviews what has been done to achieve this in terms of current efforts in Japan India and China and developments in contraceptive methodology.

Controllability analysis for current profile control in tokamaks
Proceedings of the 48h IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) held jointly with 2009 28th Chinese Control Conference, 2009The control of the toroidal current density spatial profile in tokamak plasmas will be absolutely critical in future commercial-grade reactors to enable high fusion gain, noninductive sustainment of the plasma current for steady-state operation, and magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) instability-free performance.

CONTROL OF CHAOS IN CURRENT CONTROLLED DC DRIVES
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2013In this paper, subharmonic and chaotic behavior in current controlled DC drive has been investigated. The effects of variation of some chosen parameters on the qualitative behavior of the system have been studied. To avoid occurrence of chaos we present a method for controlling chaos applicable to DC drives.

Current approaches to myopia control
Current Opinion in Ophthalmology, 2017Myopia is a global problem, being particularly prevalent in the urban areas of east and southeast Asia. In addition to the direct economic and social burdens, associated ocular complications may lead to substantial vision loss. With prevalence of myopia above 80% and high myopia over 20%, it is crucial to control myopia.

Predictive Current Control Using Identification of Current Ripple
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2008This paper presents a new time-discrete predictive current control for permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) which follows a reference step in two sampling periods. The control stands out by using a permanent identification which allows fast control even if the motor parameters are changing.

2007 International Workshop on Electron Devices and Semiconductor Technology (EDST), 2007
the paper presents a new differential current - controlled second generation current conveyor circuit with multiple outputs (MO-DCCCII). The principle of the circuit is analyzed in detail. In this circuit, the voltage relations between the differential input Y and the differential terminal X can be tuned by the extra bias current and no restriction is ...

Current problems in the control of mosquitoes
Nature, 1978Since the incidence of mosquito-borne disease was drastically reduced by the use of DDT in the 1950s, the problem has again worsened and no single method of eradication seems likely to achieve lasting success. It now seems that the best hope lies in the combination of various methods of chemical control and perhaps genetic control to rid the Third ...
