Current and possible approaches for improving photosynthetic efficiency [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Science, 2019
One of the most important tasks laying ahead today's biotechnology is to improve crop productivity with the aim of meeting increased food and energy demands of humankind. Plant productivity depends on many genetic factors, including life cycle, harvest index, stress tolerance and photosynthetic activity. Many approaches were already tested or suggested

A High Current Efficiency Two-Stage Amplifier With Inner Feedforward Path Compensation Technique

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
A high current efficiency two-stage amplifier with inner feedforward path compensation (IFPC) technique is proposed in this paper. To improve the current utilization of the whole structure, the recycling folded cascode amplifier (RFC) is adopted as the ...

The current efficiency during the cathodic period of reversing current in copper powder deposition and the overall current efficiency [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2003
The current efficiency during the cathodic period of reversing current in copper powder deposition was determined by measuring the quantity of hydrogen evolved. The diagrams from which the instantaneous and average current efficiencies for copper deposition can be extracted for any deposition time up to 30 min are given. A procedure for the calculation

Linear Paired Electrolysis-Realising 200 % Current Efficiency for Stoichiometric Transformations-The Electrochemical Bromination of Alkenes. [PDF]

open access: yesAngew Chem Int Ed Engl, 2021
The generation of bromine by oxidation of bromide anions at the anode and reduction of molecular oxygen at the cathode to hydrogen peroxide resulted in the overall formation of two molecules of Br2 (=four electron oxidation) by passing just two electrons

Determination of limiting current density and current efficiency in electrodialysis units

open access: yesDesalination, 2018
Abstract A crucial parameter for the design and operation of electrodialysis (ED) units is the limiting current density (LCD). This is often identified with the diffusion-limited current density, which corresponds to the complete solute depletion in the layer adjacent to the membrane.

Electrolytic ammonia removal and current efficiency by a vermiculite-packed electrochemical reactor. [PDF]

open access: yesSci Rep, 2017
The ammonia removal as well as the current efficiency during electrolysis was investigated by using a vermiculite-packed electrochemical reactor under continuous mode. Experimental results showed that adsorption of ammonia by vermiculite and electrolytic

Efficiency and current in a correlated ratchet [PDF]

open access: yesChaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, 2004
We present a detailed study of the transport and the efficiency of a ratchet system in a periodic potential in the presence of correlated noises. The current and the efficiency of the system are investigated. It is found that, when the potential is spatially symmetric, the correlation between the two noises can induce a net transport.
