Capacitive Error in Current Comparators

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1964
The equations for the capacitive error of various constructions of audio-frequency current comparators are derived and discussed. The experimental procedure for trimming a comparator using an excitation winding is presented. The interrelationship between sensitivity and accuracy is indicated.

Error neutralisation in switched current memory cells

ISCAS'99. Proceedings of the 1999 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems VLSI (Cat. No.99CH36349), 2003
This paper demonstrates that high performance operation of switched-current memory cells can be achieved by neutralisation of the cell's errors using gate-drain capacitive feedback. Simulation indicates that this technique can achieve 9-10 bit performance at a sampling frequency of 100 MS/s.

Current Design with Minimum Error in Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation

2018
As a non-invasive brain stimulation technology, transcanial direct current stimulation (tDCS) has been recently attracting more and more attention in research and clinic applications due to its convenient implementation and modulation of the brain functionality.

The Effects of Wind Transfer Error on Current Retrieval

IGARSS 2019 - 2019 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2019
The simultaneous measurements of ocean surface current and wind have attracted considerable interest. Since they are closely coupled at sea surface, wind errors (speed and direction) have a transfer effect on current retrieval. In this paper we investigate the effects of wind transfer error on current retrieval for a Doppler scattterometer.

A proposed method for the determination of current-transformer errors

Electrical Engineering, 1940
CURRENT TRANSFORMERS for relay service must be able to function with reasonable accuracy under very high overload conditions, and it is therefore necessary that their accuracy for such high currents be verified. However, in performing the usual accuracy test at very high currents, certain difficulties are encountered — the principal ones being:

Current strategies for the treatment of inborn errors of metabolism

Journal of Genetics and Genomics, 2018
Inborn errors of metabolism (IEMs) are a large group of inherited disorders characterized by disruption of metabolic pathways due to deficient enzymes, cofactors, or transporters. The rapid advances in the understanding of the molecular pathophysiology of many IEMs, have led to significant progress in the development of many new treatments.

Errors in persistent inward currents generated by space-clamp errors: a modeling study

Journal of Neurophysiology, 1995
1. The effects of imperfect space clamp on inactivating inward currents were examined with the use of a "ball-and-stick" neuronal model with uniform active and passive membrane properties. With poor space clamp, both transient and steady-state (persistent) components were distorted.

The current approach to human error and blame in the NHS

British Journal of Nursing, 2003
There is a large body of research to suggest that serious errors are widespread throughout medicine. The traditional response to these adverse events has been to adopt a ‘person approach’ — blaming the individual seen as ‘responsible’. The culture of medicine is highly complicit in this response.

Mismatch-based timing errors in current steering DACs

Proceedings of the 2003 International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2003. ISCAS '03., 2003
Current Steering Digital-to-Analog Converters (CS-DAC) are important ingredients in many high-speed data converters. Various types of timing errors such as mismatch based timing errors limit broad-band performance. A framework of timing errors is presented here and it is used to analyze these errors.

Error analysis of an acoustic current meter

IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering, 1991
Accuracies of the benthic acoustic stress sensor (BASS) and the proposed modular acoustic velocity sensor (MAVS) are evaluated. A simple model of the hydrodynamic sources of error for acoustic current meters is presented and compared with the measured performance of BASS in a tow-tank and in field deployments.
