Estimating the Eddy-Current Modeling Error

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2008
The eddy-current model is an approximation of the full Maxwell equations. We will give estimates for the modeling error and show how the constants in the estimates are influenced by the geometry of the problem. Additionally, we analyze the asymptotic behavior of the modeling error when the angular frequency tends to zero.

Error neutralised switched-current comparator

ISCAS'99. Proceedings of the 1999 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems VLSI (Cat. No.99CH36349), 2003
This paper describes an error-neutralised switched-current comparator, which makes use of cross-coupled capacitors to compensate conductance errors resulting from both the overlap capacitances and the channel length modulation effect in the comparator's memory stage.

Compensation of Current Measurement Error for Current-Controlled PMSM Drives

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2012
Accurate measurement of phase current is crucial in a current-controlled permanent-magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) drive system. Current measurement error directly deteriorates torque control performance. This paper analyzes effects of the current measurement error on the phase current and the output voltage of the current controller.

ON THE CONSTANT‐CURRENT ERROR IN SKIN RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT

Psychophysiology, 1965
ABSTRACTA substantial reduction in skin resistance (SR) is produced by a rise in induced voltage. This indicates that with a constant‐current circuit, variations in voltage can have a significant effect on the SR level. Therefore, SR levels obtained with a constant‐current and constant‐voltage circuits were compared for a group of Ss. The higher the SR

Current transformer error correction

2015 IEEE 15th International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering (EEEIC), 2015
This paper presents the development of micro-processor based device with ability to decrease protection-type current transformer measurement error in the area of small currents. Measurement transformers are available with a high precision class of 0.2 and 0.5 and maximal measurable current up to double rated value.

Capacitive Error in Current Comparators

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1964
The equations for the capacitive error of various constructions of audio-frequency current comparators are derived and discussed. The experimental procedure for trimming a comparator using an excitation winding is presented. The interrelationship between sensitivity and accuracy is indicated.

Error neutralisation in switched current memory cells

ISCAS'99. Proceedings of the 1999 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems VLSI (Cat. No.99CH36349), 2003
This paper demonstrates that high performance operation of switched-current memory cells can be achieved by neutralisation of the cell's errors using gate-drain capacitive feedback. Simulation indicates that this technique can achieve 9-10 bit performance at a sampling frequency of 100 MS/s.

Current strategies for the treatment of inborn errors of metabolism

Journal of Genetics and Genomics, 2018
Inborn errors of metabolism (IEMs) are a large group of inherited disorders characterized by disruption of metabolic pathways due to deficient enzymes, cofactors, or transporters. The rapid advances in the understanding of the molecular pathophysiology of many IEMs, have led to significant progress in the development of many new treatments.

The Effects of Wind Transfer Error on Current Retrieval

IGARSS 2019 - 2019 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2019
The simultaneous measurements of ocean surface current and wind have attracted considerable interest. Since they are closely coupled at sea surface, wind errors (speed and direction) have a transfer effect on current retrieval. In this paper we investigate the effects of wind transfer error on current retrieval for a Doppler scattterometer.
