Current mode AB class WTA circuit

In this paper novel AB class current mode WTA circuits that set foundations for low power programmable VLSI neural networks and other applications are proposed. The 8-WTA circuit has been simulated, fabricated and measured. Results are presented and discussed.

A technique for the reduction of the input resistance of current-mode circuits

A novel technique, able to theoretically nullify the input resistance of a generic current-in circuit is presented. The method does not reduce the dynamic swing of the original circuit to which it is applied, hence allowing low-voltage operations to be achieved.

A Current-Mode Memristor Emulator Circuit

In this paper, a new current-controlled memristor emulator circuit based on voltage differencing transconductance amplifier (VDTA) as an active circuit element is proposed. The proposed emulator circuit is simulated on the 180 nm CMOS technology node making it both cost and power-efficient emulator circuit.

Delay components of a current mode logic circuit and their current dependency

The delay of a CML circuit can be described in terms of the delay elements of a bipolar transistor such as junction capacitors C/sub BC/, C/sub BE/, C/sub CS/and a cutoff frequency f/sub T/. A new analysis method is proposed to calculate a CML delay. The nonlinear conductance of a bipolar transistor is approximated by a piecewise linear function.
