A 10 V-to-1 V Double Step-Down Buck Converter Using Time-Based Current Mode Control with Minimum Delay Frequency Difference Phase Adder for 1 MHz Operation

open access: yesJournal of Low Power Electronics and Applications
An extreme step-down ratio buck converter is proposed using a double step-down (DSD) buck converter architecture and a single time-based current mode PWM controller able to generate two non-overlapping control signal phases.

Comparative Evaluation of Hemodiafiltration, Hemoperfusion, and Standard Hemodialysis on Efficacy, Inflammatory Control, Dialysis Adequacy, and Safety in End‐Stage Renal Disease: A Prospective Observational Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

Research on Control Strategy of Voltage Source Full Power Wind Power Converter

open access: yesKongzhi Yu Xinxi Jishu, 2023
In the operating environment of power system with weak grid characteristics, the traditional current source converter control mode is prone to vibration, which increases the crossing difficulty and off-grid probability of wind turbines.

ZVS Turn-on Triangular Current Mode (TCM) Control for Three-Phase Two-Level Converters With Reactive Power Control

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics, 2023
High switching frequency operation in power converters leads to a significant reduction in size at the cost of increased switching losses. Thus, soft switching techniques become necessary to reduce the losses. WBG devices have the benefit of low turn-off

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
