Modeling and Analysis of a PCM-Controlled Boost Converter Designed to Operate in DCM

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
Peak current-mode (PCM) control has been a very popular control method in power electronic converters. The small-signal modeling of the dynamics associated with PCM control has turned out to be extremely challenging.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

РЕГУЛЯТОР СКОЛЬЗЯЩЕГО РЕЖИМА ДЛЯ УПРАВЛЕНИЯ ЧАСТОТОЙ ТОКА ВАЛОГЕНЕРАТОРА

open access: yesElektrotehnìka ta Elektroenergetika, 2007
В условиях параллельной работы валогенератора с генераторами судовой электростанции путем использования регулятора скользящего режима, функционирующего совместно с фаззи-регулятором, решена задача уменьшения колебаний частоты вращения и угла нагрузки ...

Model-Based Current Sharing Approach for DCM Interleaved Flyback Micro-Inverter

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
Current sharing control is a challenge for a discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) micro-inverter based on interleaved flyback topology. To solve this problem, this study proposes a novel and systemic model-based approach. Firstly, an accurate fourth-order

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

A novel current controlled current mode universal filter: SITO approach

open access: yesIEICE Electronics Express, 2005
A novel electronically tunable single-input three-output (SITO) universal filter employing three current controlled conveyors and two grounded capacitors is presented. The proposed filter offers the following advantageous features: low input impedance and high output impedance- a desirable property of current mode filters, realization of low pass, band

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Current-Flux Plane Sliding Mode for Induction Motor Torque Control

open access: yesEnergies
The induction motors are once again becoming increasingly more popular due to the shifts in global politics and economics. With this increased interest, there is a growing need for even better control solutions, especially for the automotive industry ...

Control of a Boost Converter to Improve the Performance of a Photovoltaic System in a Microgrid

open access: yesProceedings, 2018
In this work, the analysis of a CD-CD converter type Boost is presented. This converter works in Discontinuous Conduction Mode; In addition, the design of its control loops is performed, using an Average Current Mode control.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.
