Surge protectors for current transformers
Electrical Engineering, 1936Surge protection and open-circuit protection of current transformers may be obtained by the application of shunts in which the material known as ``thyrite,'' and which has a negative resistance characteristic, is used. The surge protector is connected across the current transformer primary, and the open-circuit protector across the secondary.

On site calibration of current transformers
2014 IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC) Proceedings, 2014This paper proposes a method for calibrating current transformers installed in power networks. The method compares primary to secondary currents in low voltage networks, and different secondary currents of the same transformer in high voltage networks.

Current-mode network transformations
Proceedings of IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems - ISCAS '94, 2002Current-mode network transformations are presented from which it is possible to generate new current-mode circuits by performing simple operations on the network. These transformations are developed by interchanging the ports of a current-mode circuit and exploiting the properties of current-conveyors and RC networks.
