Power dependence of pure spin current injection by quantum interference [PDF]
We investigate the power dependence of pure spin current injection in GaAs bulk and quantum-well samples by a quantum interference and control technique.

ABSTRACT Background This study investigated how neighborhood‐level social determinants of health (SDOH), including redlining and neurological risk, interact to influence cognitive outcomes in children treated for brain tumors (CTBT). Methods A retrospective chart review of 161 CTBT aged 5–17 was conducted.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Velocity shear and current driven instability in a collisional F-region [PDF]
We have studied how the presence of collisions affects the behavior of instabilities triggered by a combination of shears and parallel currents in the ionosphere under a variety of ion to electron temperature ratios.

A new functional observer to estimate velocity, acceleration and disturbance for motion control systems [PDF]
This paper presents a novel functional observer which can observe the velocity, acceleration and disturbance information of a motion control system with higher accuracy and less noise in comparison to classical observers.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Photo-induced Tomonaga-Luttinger-like liquid in a Mott insulator
Photo-induced metallic states in a Mott insulator are studied for the half-filled, one-dimensional Hubbard model with the time-dependent density matrix renormalization group. An irradiation of strong AC field is found to create a linear dispersion in the

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
