The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

ON THE TOPOLOGY OF MECHANISMS DESIGNED FOR CURVES GENERATION

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics, 2008
The paper presents some mechanisms used for generating simple or complex curves. The mechanisms are shown in different positions and for some special curves the demonstrations are performed.

VSG Catastrophe Mechanism Based on Bifurcation and Catastrophe Theories

open access: yesZhongguo dianli
The virtual synchronous generator (VSG) may have problems that the system bifurcation curve changes and the VSG voltage drops or rises due to catastrophe phenomena during operation, which is not conducive to the stable operation of the VSG.

STUDYING THE GENERATION OF PONCELET'S CAPRICORNOID CURVE BY AN ARTOBOLEVSKII MECHANISM

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics, 2020
The kinematic possibilities of a mechanism created by I. I. Artobolevskii for tracing Poncelet's capricornoid are studied. The structure of the mechanism is also studied by the contour method and the desired curve is obtained. Next, some parameters of the mechanism are changed, resulting other curves, or variants of the capricornoid with other ...

Mathematical Model of the Generator of the Composite Design of a Reciprocal Type [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Интерес к исследованию энергоустановок на базе свободнопоршневых двигателей обусловлен рядом преимуществ в сравнении с классическими двигателями внутреннего сгорания с кривошипно-шатунным механизмом.

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

SYNTHESIS OF A MECHANISM THAT GENERATES THE "GLISETTE" CURVE

open access: yesAnalele Universităţii "Constantin Brâncuşi" din Târgu Jiu: Seria Inginerie, 2018
Based on ageometric construction [Ferreol]and itsanimation, a mechanism that can generate the glisette curve is conceived. The geometric synthesis of the mechanism and its structural and kinematic analysis is made, obtaining the desired curve as a trajectory of a point on this mechanism. It is found that there is a dead point in the working of the ...

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

An unexpected alternative viologen electron mediator site in tungsten‐containing formate dehydrogenase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...
