Influence of Electromagnetic Force on Curve PassingDynamic Performance of LIM Metro Vehicle

open access: yes机车电传动, 2016
Three-dimensional electromagnetic forces (longitudinal, vertical and lateral electromagnetic force) produced between theprimary and secondary of linear induction motor (LIM), may influence the dynamic performance of LIM vehicle.

Guidance Control for High-speed Vehicle with Single-axle Independent Wheelset Bogies

open access: yesChengshi guidao jiaotong yanjiu
ObjectiveHigh-speed vehicles adopt lightweight design, and their single axle independent wheelset bogies feature short axles, low unsprung mass, and reduced wheel-rail impact.

Tropical curves in abelian surfaces I: enumeration of curves passing through points

open access: yesMathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society
AbstractThis paper is the first part in a series of three papers devoted to the study of enumerative invariants of abelian surfaces through the tropical approach. In this paper, we consider the enumeration of genus g curves of fixed degree passing through g points.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A Safety Assessment and Vibration Characteristics of Railway Vehicle Passing Curves [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the Korean Society for Noise and Vibration Engineering, 2007
An analysis model has been developed to assess running safety of railway vehicle passing curves. By using ADAMS/Rail, a computer analysis has been conducted by changing various parameters according to the track conditions. Analysis results show as follows: A derailment coefficient of left wheel was increased according to increase of cant at low speed ...

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Research on Iterative Learning Semi-active Control for Curve Passing of High-speed Train

open access: yes机车电传动, 2020
When the high-speed train passes the curve, its dynamics performance deteriorates. In order to improve the dynamic performance of high-speed train when passing through different curves, the influence of semi-active control with yaw damper on its dynamic ...

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...
