Adsorption and anti-corrosion properties od cuttingfluids for shear blades of glass-forming machines
The article presents the studies on the adsorption of water-miscible oil-containing cutting fluids on the R6M5 high-speed steel surface. The fluids can be used for the shear blades of drop feeders in glass-forming machines.

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Numerical modeling and simulation of drilling cutting transport in horizontal wells
Cutting transport is an important goal in drilling operation especially in horizontal and deviated wells since it can cause problems such as stuck pipe, circulation loss and high torque and drag.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Hydrated Seal Lip for Live Center in Machine Tools
When performing a cutting operation, a water-soluble cutting fluid may be used for cooling. Labyrinth and oil seals are commonly used in the rotating centers of machine tools to prevent the cutting fluid and dust from entering the inner parts.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.
