Cutting Path Planning for Surface Impellers
2011 Third International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation, 20115-axis CNC machining is one kind not only may realize the ordinary machining, but may also complete from the rough cutting to the post processing entire flow new cutting way. This article develops special software to plan cutting path for ruled surface impellers.

Recognizing max-flow min-cut path matrices
Operations Research Letters, 1988Let A be a 0,1-matrix, \(c\geq 0\) integral vector, and \(\mathbf{1}\) the vector of all 1's. Consider the following dual pair of linear programs: (P) minimize cx, subject to Ax\(\geq \mathbf{1}\), \(x\geq 0.\) (D) maximize \(y\mathbf{1}\), subject to yA\(\leq c\), \(y\geq 0.\) Seymour has shown that if A is a path matrix of a matroid M relative to an ...

Laser Cutting Path Planning Using CP
2013Sheet metal cutting using lasers is ubiquitous in the industry, and is used to produce everything from home decorations to excavator scoops. Metal waste is costly for the industry, both in terms of money, but also in terms of an increased environmental footprint.

Path generation for robotic cutting of carcasses
Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, 1995Abstract Definition of cut paths for the production of primal joints from meat carcasses is an important requirement for automated meat processing. This paper presents methods for path prediction for cuts selected from the evisceration and butchery procedures in the production of pork meat. The cuts are separated into three categories: (1) those that

Inverting Paths & Cuts of 2-State Systems
IEEE Transactions on Reliability, 1983Summary: An algorithm (INMIN) derives the path sets of 2-state systems from their cut sets and vice versa. This algorithm is extended to invert min paths and min cuts using the monotonicity of s-coherent systems. The handling of sets for these algorithms can easily be programmed in PASCAL using the SET-concept of this language.

Relationship Between Minimal Path Sets and Cut Sets
IEEE Transactions on Reliability, 1978I do not see the purpose of the ``R-cut sets'', because they are not a complete description of the set of failure states. By contrast, the list of cut sets is a minimalized form representing all possible failure conditions for the system. If the component unreliabilities are substituted into the IE-generated polynomial, an exact expression for the ...

Inverting and Minimalizing Path Sets and Cut Sets
IEEE Transactions on Reliability, 1978This paper describes a technique for generating the minimal cuts from the minimal paths, or vice versa, for s-coherent systems. The process is a recursive 2-stage expansion based upon de Morgan's theorems; ie, it is the inversion of a Boolean polynomial having all common-valued (either all 0 or all 1) components, so that the inverse also has only ...

Tool Path Generation for Flexible Blade Cutting
2000Free Form Thick Layered Object Manufacturing FF-TLOM is based on application of a reshapeable cutting device, which allows a free form shaping of thick polystyrene foam layers. Once manufactured, these layers are stacked to produce a physical model. Tool path generation for the heated flexible blade tool is a challenging task, since it influences the ...
