Improved Real-time Denoising Method Based on Lifting Wavelet Transform

open access: yesMeasurement Science Review, 2014
Signal denoising can not only enhance the signal to noise ratio (SNR) but also reduce the effect of noise. In order to satisfy the requirements of real-time signal denoising, an improved semisoft shrinkage real-time denoising method based on lifting ...

Adaptaquin is selectively toxic to glioma stem cells through disruption of iron and cholesterol metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Monostable Dynamic Analysis of Microbeam-Based Resonators via an Improved One Degree of Freedom Model

open access: yesMicromachines, 2018
Monostable vibration can eliminate dynamic bifurcation and improve system stability, which is required in many microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) applications, such as microbeam-based and comb-driven resonators.

EFFECT OF CUTTING SPEED IN THE TURNING PROCESS OF AISI 1045 STEEL ON CUTTING FORCE AND BUILT-UP EDGE (BUE) CHARACTERISTICS OF CARBIDE CUTTING TOOL

open access: yesJurnal Ilmiah SINERGI, 2020
In the machining of metal cutting, cutting tools are the main things that must be considered. Using improper cutting parameters can cause damage to the cutting tool. The damage is Built-Up Edge (BUE).

Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

Influence of deposition pressure on structure and properties of AlCrSiN/Mo self-lubricating coating

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng
To solve the problem that the cutting temperature rises sharply due to the high friction coefficient of AlCrSiN coated tools during dry cutting, which seriously shortens the service life of the tool, the tribological properties of the coating are ...

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Simulation analysis on influencing factors of cutting head load of longitudinal roadheader

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2020
In view of problem that single influencing factor can not fully reflect cutting head load and its fluctuation variation law in existing research methods of cutting head load characteristics for roadheader, by analyzing instantaneous load of cutting head,
