Influence of Cutting Angle on Temperature Distribution of Cutter
The failure of cutter is closely related to cutting temperature, and the formation of cuttings has an impact on the performance and life of cutter. This article builds a rock-breaking mechanics model to conduct numerical simulation analysis on rock ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Cutting temperature measurement and material machinability [PDF]
Cutting temperature is very important parameter of cutting process. Around 90% of heat generated during cutting process is then away by sawdust, and the rest is transferred to the tool and workpiece.

Evaluation of cutting temperature of a tool with a curved cutting edge [PDF]
A model for solving the problem of heat distribution along the front surface of a tool with a shaped profile is considered. Analytical dependencies for estimating the temperature of the tool of elliptic profile for turning with radial feed in Cartesian and polar coordinate systems are obtained for the model under consideration.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Thermal Operator and Cutting Rules at Finite Temperature and Chemical Potential [PDF]
In the context of scalar field theories, both real and complex, we derive the cutting description at finite temperature (with zero/finite chemical potential) from the cutting rules at zero temperature through the action of a simple thermal operator.
