Winter Dynamics of Phytoplankton and Micronutrients in the Southern Ocean
Abstract Combined observations of phytoplankton abundance, community structure, and trace metals in winter are scarce but crucial for understanding Southern Ocean biogeochemistry. This study provides the first early winter insights of phytoplankton‐micronutrient dynamics in the Indian sector of the Southern Ocean.

Cloning and expression of the Propionibacterium shermanii methylmalonyl-CoA epimerase gene in Escherichia coli : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Biochemistry at Massey University [PDF]
Genomic DNA was isolated from Propionibacterium shermanii (52W). A 454 bp DNA fragment coding for the methylmalonyl-CoA epimerase (EC 5.1.99.1, subsequently referred to as epimerase) was amplified from genomic DNA by the polymerase chain reaction using ...

Identification of MscS as a Key L‐Glutamate Exporter in Bacillus methanolicus
l‐Glutamate export in the methylotrophic bacterium Bacillus methanolicus, driven by an MscS‐like mechanosensitive channel. Figure created with BioRender (https://BioRender.com/t99s28). ABSTRACT Small‐conductance mechanosensitive channels (MscS) are established l‐glutamate exporters in industrially relevant bacteria, yet their role in the methylotrophic

Vitamin requirements of finfish and prawns [PDF]
Vitamins are complex organic substances, usually of comparatively small molecular size (molecular weight usually less than 1000). They are distributed in feedstuffs in small quantities and form a distinct entity from other major and minor food ...

Survey of functional Mendelian variants in New Zealand Huntaway and Heading dog breeds
Abstract New Zealand (NZ) Huntaway and Heading dogs are working breeds that play active roles on farms across NZ. While these breeds are common in NZ, they are not well‐known elsewhere, and little is understood about their genetic make‐up. Here, we used whole genome sequencing to provide a comprehensive genomic view of 249 working dogs. As first use of

Chronic pain and group B vitamins
Chronic pain (CP) impairs quality of life and increases the risk of non-communicable diseases and mortality. Pain is variable, and different mechanisms of its development determine the tactics of patient treatment.
