N.m.r. studies of internal mobility in a cyclic tetrapeptide

International Journal of Peptide and Protein Research, 1989
The conformation of cyclo(D‐Phe‐D‐Pro‐Ala‐Pro) is reported. Measurements of spin‐lattice relaxation in the rotating frame indicate that this peptide is conformationally less mobile on the microsecond time scale than larger cyclic peptides previously studied.

Unified modeling of flow liquefaction and cyclic mobility

Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, 2000
Abstract Flow liquefaction and cyclic mobility are two different phenomena that are encountered during strong earthquakes. Flow liquefaction is associated with the contractive behavior of loose granular materials and cyclic mobility is associated with the dilative response of both loose and dense granular materials at low confining stresses.

Using a Cyclic Ion Mobility Spectrometer for Tandem Ion Mobility Experiments

Journal of Visualized Experiments, 2022
Accurate characterization of chemical structures is important to understand their underlying biological mechanisms and functional properties. Mass spectrometry (MS) is a popular tool but is not always sufficient to completely unveil all structural features.

Conformational mobility in cyclic oligopeptides

Biopolymers, 1993
AbstractAnalysis of two isomeric cyclic hexapeptides of composition (Asp, Arg, Gly2, Pro, D‐Pro) by a nuclear Overhauser effect constrained distance geometry conformation search yielded a narrowly defined backbone conformation for one and considerable ambiguity about the conformation in part of the other.

Optimization of a cyclic queue for mobile dentistry

Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Queueing Theory and Network Applications, 2011
We consider the allocation of mobile dentistry resources to a scattered population. A cyclic queueing network is used to model the allocation process. The resulting model may be transformed to a geometric program. Numerical results are given.
