Information and Control, 1971 The problem of finding the cycle representatives of a cyclic code is examined. For an (n, k) cyclic code whose parity check polynomial h(x) consists entirely of factors with exponent n, a complete set of representatives is obtained. Further, if the exponents of the factors of h(x) are relatively prime to each other, a complete set can also be generated.
