Manganese‐catalyzed enantioselective C(sp3)─H lactonization with hydrogen peroxide enables the direct desymmetrization of malonic monoesters and malonic acids, providing highly enantioenriched γ‐ and δ‐lactones (up to >99% ee) ABSTRACT Malonate derivatives are readily available starting materials widely employed in the synthesis of bioactive compounds.

Enhancing Chemical Stability and Molecular Selectivity of Porous Organic Cages via Core–Shell Polymer Coating

This study presents an interfacial method to fabricate POC@polymer core–shell nanostructures combining cage porosity with polymer robustness. Through chiral self‐assembly and non‐solvent‐induced surface polymerisation, uniform ∼20 nm polymer‐coated particles are produced.

Rapid and Stereoselective Ring‐Opening Polymerization of rac‐Lactide Enabled by a Chiral Cyclopropenimine–Thiourea Catalyst

Chiral cyclopropenimine–thiourea organocatalysts enabled both high reactivity and precise stereocontrol in the ring‐opening polymerization of rac‐lactide. The bifunctional system exhibited a TOF up to 1,710 h−1 with Pm = 0.90 at 25°C, and achieved Pm = 0.99 at −78°C while maintaining a TOF of 16.3 h−1.

Extreme Kinetic Stability and RNase Resistance of Human Telomerase RNA G‐Quadruplexes Overcome by DHX36 Helicase

The RNA G‐quadruplexes formed at the 5'‐end of the RNA component of human telomerase possess extreme slow unfolding rate, rendering them resistant to nuclease degradation. The helicase DHX36 overcame this kinetic barrier and significantly reduced the folded fraction.

Rapid Assignment of Chemical Shifts From Crystal Structures in Solid‐State NMR

Chemical shift assignment in solids is a long and tedious process that relies on complex 1D and 2D NMR experiments. With prior knowledge of the 3D structure, this process can be significantly sped up by a Bayesian probabilistic assignment approach based on predicted chemical shifts.

Rh‐catalyzed chemodivergent parallel kinetic resolution of racemic 1,6‐enynes with α‐fluoroacrylamides or mixtures of different acrylamides proceeded via [2+2+2] cycloaddition and C–H alkylation to afford structurally and stereochemically distinct products with high selectivity under mild conditions.
