Regioselectivity in C-H activation: reagent control in cyclometallation of 2-(1-naphthyl)-pyridine.
2-(1-Naphthyl)-pyridine () possesses sp(2) C-H bonds in both the γ- and δ-positions and is therefore a suitable substrate for studying the cyclometallation selectivity with different reagents and conditions. Such selectivity studies are reported.

Iridium Complexes of a Triazole-Derived Pincer Ligand: Synthesis, Reactivity, and Transfer Dehydrogenation Catalysis. [PDF]
Ir pincer complexes bearing a triazole architecture in the pincer backbone and O‐ancillary chelating ligands are presented. These were employed in the catalytic transfer dehydrogenation of alkanes as well as of saturated heterocycles. Reactivity of these complexes with silver salts and Lewis acids produced various cationic iridium complexes.

Synthesis of Cyclometallated Pt(II) Complexes of a Bulky Bipyridine Ligand [PDF]
Treatment of 3,4,5,6-tetraphenyl-2,2′-bipyridine (LH) (7) with [PtCl2(dmso)2] (dmso = dimethyl sulfoxide) in chloroform afforded the cyclometallated square-planar platinum(II) complex [PtCl(L)] (8) and the octahedral Pt(IV) complex mer-[PtCl3(L)] (9 ...

ADMET Profiling of the Metallodrugs: A Comparative Review of Platinum, Palladium, Gold, Ruthenium, Copper, and Zinc Anticancer Complexes. [PDF]
The successful clinical use of metal‐based anticancer agents depends heavily on a detailed understanding of their absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicology (ADMET) profiles. This review evaluates the ADMET properties of anticancer complexes involving platinum, palladium, gold, ruthenium, copper, and zinc.

Investigating N2 Fixation Using a Bulky Fe(bisphosphine)2 Framework. [PDF]
The bulky Fe(0) N2 complex Fe(N2)(dibpe)2 has been prepared and efficiently produces NH3/N2H4 upon treatment with acid, similarly to previously investigated Fe(N2)(depe)2. However, it performs much less effectively during attempted catalytic N2 fixation, allowing investigation of the crucial role of steric hindrance in steps such as N2 binding and ...

The Exchange of Cyclometalated Ligands [PDF]
Reactions of cyclometalated compounds are numerous. This account is focused on one of such reactions, the exchange of cyclometalated ligands, a reaction between a cyclometalated compound and an incoming ligand that replaces a previously cyclometalated ligand to form a new metalacycle: + H-C*~Z ⇄ + H-C~Y.
