Mo and Pt Complexes of an Azine Phosphine with a Ferrocene Moiety [PDF]
Condensation of the phosphino hydrazone Z-PPh2CH2C(But)=NNH2 II with ferrocene carboxaldehyde, CpFe(C5H4CHO) produced the azine monophosphine Z,E-PPh2CH2C(But)=N-N=CH(C5H4)FeCp (Z,E-LH).

Rollover cyclometalation constitutes a particular case of cyclometallation reaction. This reaction occurs when a chelated heterocyclic ligand loses its bidentate coordination mode and undergoes an internal rotation, after which a remote C–H bond is ...

Nucleophilic Fluorination Catalyzed by a Cyclometallated Rhodium Complex [PDF]
Quantitative catalytic nucleophilic fluorination of a range of acyl chlorides to acyl fluorides was promoted by a cyclometallated rhodium complex [(η5,κ2C-C5Me4CH2C6F5CH2NC3H2NMe)- RhCl] (1). 1 can be prepared in high yields from commercially available starting materials using a one-pot method.

Luminescent cyclometalated gold(iii) complexes [PDF]
Many luminescent gold(I) compounds are known, but in the vast majority of gold(III) complexes reported until recently, room temperature emission in fluid solution does not occur. As for other d(8) and d(6) metals, the key to obtaining gold(III) compounds with favorable luminescence properties seems to be the use of cyclometalating ligands that ensure ...

Geminal group-directed olefinic C-H functionalization via four- to eight-membered exo-metallocycles
Identifying distinct cyclometallation pathways is essential to new types of C-H activation and functionalization in organic synthesis. Here, the authors show the activation of an olefinic C-H bond geminal to the directing group via four- to eight ...

Borylcyclopropanes: Synthetic Strategies and Applications
Borylcyclopropanes (cyclopropanes bearing a boron substituent) sit at the intersection of two privileged frameworks in synthesis. This review provides the first exhaustive survey of their chemistry, spanning metal–carbene, nucleophilic cyclization, radical, hydroboration, and C─H activation routes, and documenting applications in medicinal chemistry ...

Formazanate Complexes of Bis-Cyclometalated Iridium [PDF]
In this work we describe a series of bis-cyclometalated iridium(III) formazanate complexes, expanding the coordination chemistry of the redox-active formazanate class to iridium. A total of 18 new complexes are described, varying the substituent pattern on the formazanate and the identity of the cyclometalating ligand on iridium.
