Parazitologiia, 2004
Cysticercoids of the cestode Unciunia raymondi Gigon et Beuret, 1991 (Cyclophyllidea: Dilepididae), a parasites of palaearctic thrushes (Turdus), taken from spontaneously infected Geotrupes and black wireworm Cylindrojulus in the North-eastern Altai, is described. An identity of cysticercoids of U.

On the ultrastructure of the polycercus larva of Paricterotaenia paradoxa (Cestoda: Cyclophyllidea)

Canadian Journal of Zoology, 1974
Mature polycercus larvae of Paricterotaenia paradoxa were examined by light and electron microscopy. Although the larvae are of the cysticercoid type, they showed great similarity to the hydatid larvae of Echinococcus granulosus with respect to asexual multiplication and the presence of a PAS-positive layer of tissue that surrounds the larva.

A taxonomic revision of the Nematotaeniidae Lhe, 1910 (Cestoda: Cyclophyllidea)

Systematic Parasitology, 1987
A taxonomic revision of the Nematotaeniidae, involving the examination of over 400 specimens, was undertaken. Some new taxonomic characters have been introduced to allow distinction of the various species. The family contains 18 recognized species in four genera. The genus Nematotaenia Lühe, 1910 contains four species, namely N. chantalae Dollfus, 1957,

The Life History of Oochoristica osheroffi Meggitt, 1934 (Cyclophyllidea: Anoplocephalidae)

The Journal of Parasitology, 1967
Examination of tapeworms from prairie rattlesnakes, Crotalus viridis, collected in Weld Co., Colorado (Sec. 16, T 2N, R 64W), were identified as Oochoristica osheroffi Meggitt, 1934. In an effort to determine the intermediate host of the cestode, gravid proglottids were fed to adult flour beetles, Tribolium confusum Duv., migratory grasshoppers ...

Neuropeptide F-immunoreactivity in the tetrathyridium ofMesocestoides corti (Cestoda: Cyclophyllidea)

Parasitology Research, 1993
The distribution pattern and subcellular localisation of neuropeptide F (NPF) immunoreactivity (IR) in the tetrathyridium stage of Mesocestoides corti were investigated by whole-mount immunocytochemistry in conjunction with confocal scanning laser microscopy (CSLM) and by immunoelectron microscopy using immunogold labeling.

[Morphogenesis of the Staphylocystis furcata cysticercoid (Cyclophyllidea, Hymenolepididae)].

Parazitologiia, 2010
The morphogenesis of the Staphylocystis furcata (Stieda, 1862) cysticercoids has been studied in the experimentally infected beetles Geotrupes stercorosus and their structural and ontogenetic features have been described. At the initial stage of its development metacestode of S. furcata forms lacuna primitiva. The primordium of scolex invaginates early
