Tunable dielectric resonators with dielectric tuning disks in cylindrical enclosures
2000 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest (Cat. No.00CH37017), 2002Tunable dielectric resonators with dielectric tuning disks in cylindrical enclosures are modeled by mode matching method. Tuning properties of TE/sub 01/ mode such as tuning ranges, spurious mode separation, unloaded quality factors and couplings, etc., are investigated for both rod- and ring-type dielectric resonators.

Design of cylindrical annular dielectric resonator antenna (CDRA)
2016 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, and Optimization Techniques (ICEEOT), 2016This paper describes the typical design of cylindrical annular dielectric resonant antenna (CADRA) using High Frequency Structural Simulator (HFSS). The cylindrical DRA with high permittivity (34.73) is mounted on a grounded substrate with less permittivity operated at 2.24 GHz. With provided specific information necessary for design, advantages of DRA

Coupling of Cylindrical Dielectric Resonators to Microstrip Lines
MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2005A lumped element circuit model is introduced to represent coupling between a cylindrical dielectric resonator and a microstrip line. The external Q of the structure is computed and compared to experimental data obtained with three different resonators.

Design of Cylindrical Dielectric Resonators in Inhomogeneous Media
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1981An iterative analytical method is presented for computing resonant frequencies of dielectric cylindrical resonators in inhomogeneous media. Normalized design charts are presented including a wide range of practical geometrical and physical parameters. Numerical results, when compared to three independent sets of experimental data, show an accuracy of ...

Probe-fed section-cylindrical dielectric resonator antennas
APMC 2001. 2001 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (Cat. No.01TH8577), 2002Probe-fed section-cylindrical DRAs are studied by using the three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. To achieve the low-profile feature, the section-cylindrical DRAs are made of high-dielectric-constant materials. The rectangular coordinate rather than cylindrical coordinate is used due to the offset probe feed and section ...
