Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...

Pattern-Reconfigurable Cylindrical Dielectric Resonator Antenna Based on Parasitic Elements

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
A novel pattern-reconfigurable cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna is presented. By the incorporation of four p-i-n diode switches and four parasitic elements, the mode of dielectric resonator excited by the probe changed.

Electrode and Microstructure Dependence of Oxygen Diffusion in Ferroelectric Hafnium Zirconium Oxide Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights

Nonlinear dynamics for cylindrical resonator of wave solid-state gyroscope with different number of electrostatic control sensors [PDF]

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Прикладная нелинейная динамика
The purpose of this work is to determine differences in the nonlinearities of mathematical models of dynamics and nonlinear effects of dynamics for the cylindrical resonator of wave solid–state gyroscope using a different number of electrostatic ...

YIG Matrix Based Multiband Magneto-Dielectric Cylindrical Resonator Antenna

open access: yesJournal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications, 2021
A multiband magneto-dielectric resonator antenna with cylindrical geometry is proposed in this paper. The resonator is composed of yttrium iron garnet (YIG) with chemical composition Y3Fe2(FeO4)3. The final structure is built on a low-cost FR4 dielectric

Chiral Phase Change Nanomaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates reversible, non‐volatile phase transitions in chiral Ge2${\rm Ge}_2$Sb2${\rm Sb}_2$Te5${\rm Te}_5$ (GST) nanohelices for high‐speed optical modulation of chirality and dynamic control of the state of polarization (SOP). The chiral nanostructures are fabricated using a highly directional, wafer‐scale physical vapor deposition ...

Resonance phenomena in cylindrical waveguides

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1987
The author considers waveguide fields when there is temporal periodic excitation and the initial field and rate of charge of field are given, being non zero. He shows that in general the field becomes periodic for large time, but that for certain values of the frequency, corresponding to eigenvalues of the Helmholtz equation, a secular term occurs in ...

Low‐Profile, High‐Gain GRIN RF Lenses via Multi‐Material Vat Photopolymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We investigate the opportunity of leveraging multi‐material vat photopolymerization printing to manufacture intricate lenses exhibiting permittivity gradients that can increase signal gain in transmitted radiofrequency signals in the X‐ and Ku‐bands. Lenses produced with more distinct low‐loss materials (up to 5) can deliver an 18 dB signal gain with a
