One‐Shot Multimaterial 3D Printing of a Flexible Spine for a Robotic Fish Prototype
A one‐shot multimaterial 3D printing approach enables a monolithic soft robotic fish integrating a compliant spine and rigid vertebrae. Electromagnetic linear actuators drive tendon‐based transmission, producing controlled tail oscillations. Finite element modeling and experiments show strong agreement, while optimized material selection improves ...

Advanced Sorbent Materials in Solid‐Phase Extraction: A Decade of Innovation and Future Perspectives
This review systematically summarizes five families of advanced sorbent materials for solid‐phase extraction (SPE): nanocarbons, porous frameworks (MOFs/COFs), smart polymers, biomass‐derived sorbents, and multifunctional composites. Key molecular interactions (π–π stacking, hydrogen bonding, electrostatic attraction, host–guest recognition) are ...

The Effects of Suspended Sediments, Dye, and Their Variation on Fish Behavior
Human activities are affecting the visual environments of freshwater ecosystems by introducing visual pollutants such as artificial dyes and elevated suspended sediment levels. Our research shows that dyes and suspended sediments can have contrasting effects of fish behavior, with dye increasing and sediments decreasing movement.

Finite element and Campbell analyses evaluated noise and vibration in a tri‐lobe compressor. A critical speed of 243 rad/s due to backward whirl was identified. Modal and static results revealed vibration hotspots at flanges and lobe tips. Design optimization enhances structural integrity, reduces resonance risk, and minimizes noise emission.
