Journal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.Surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is employed to study solvent‐induced conformational changes of cysteamine on silver bumpy nanoshells (AgNS). The trans to gauche SERS intensity ratio (Itrans/Igauche) was lowest in water and highest in aprotic acetonitrile, indicating distinct surface conformations.
