NICOL is a small protein engaged the sperm maturation in the epididymis. The recombinant expression of NICOL is low‐yielding and highly heterogeneous, which retards the precise understanding of the function of NICOL. Therefore, we determined the SS pairings and succeeded in the chemical synthesis of highly pure NICOL, which is useful for the structural

ABSTRACT Cancer is a result of uncontrolled cell growth with the potential to damage or spread to another part of the body. It is the deadliest disease in the world; therefore, rapid and sensitive detection is essential to fight it. In the past few decades, many diagnosis tools have been developed to detect cancer and monitor therapy progress.

Counter electrodes (CE) based on Polyaniline are easily prepared via electrodeposition. The polyaniline‐multi‐walled carbon nanotubes/copper sulfide (PANI‐MWCNT/CuxS) CEs exhibited better electrocatalytic activity than the other materials prepared, such as Cu and CuxS.

Detecting patchy nanoparticle assembly at the single-particle level [PDF]
Patchy colloidal particles offer a unique platform to explore and investigate spatially inhomogeneous colloidal interactions. In the present work we provide direct, in situ experimental observation at the single particle level on the colloidal ...

Surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is employed to study solvent‐induced conformational changes of cysteamine on silver bumpy nanoshells (AgNS). The trans to gauche SERS intensity ratio (Itrans/Igauche) was lowest in water and highest in aprotic acetonitrile, indicating distinct surface conformations.

Low-Cost QCM Sensor System for Screening Semen Samples [PDF]
Artificial insemination is a well-established part of modern agricultural practice. A viable semen sample is judged by the total number of spermatozoa (sperm) in the sample and the motility of the sperm.
