This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

An unusual cause of posterior mediastinal cyst
Cystic lesions of the mediastinum may be congenital or acquired. The differential diagnosis depends on their location in the mediastinum. Cysts in the posterior mediastinum are generally developmental cysts and are neurogenic or of foregut origin.

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Ventilation inhomogeneity in patients with cystic fibrosis measured by electrical impedance tomography [PDF]
Objective: The distribution of ventilation within the lung is inhomogeneous. We hypothesized that the degree of inhomogeneity in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) differs from that in healthy subjects.

Mural Adenomatoid Odontogenic Tumour as Anterior Mandibular Swelling: A Diagnostic Challenge [PDF]
Adenomatoid odontogenic tumour is an uncommon, benign, hamartomatous lesion that commonly affects the anterior maxilla and has two radiographic variants, follicular and extrafollicular where the former is more common than the latter.

Restoration of CFTR function in patients with cystic fibrosis carrying the F508del-CFTR mutation [PDF]
Restoration of BECN1/Beclin 1-dependent autophagy and depletion of SQSTM1/p62 by genetic manipulation or autophagy-stimulatory proteostasis regulators, such as cystamine, have positive effects on mouse models of human cystic fibrosis (CF). These measures

Mucocele of the rectal stump: mucinous cystic neoplasm with low-grade dysplasia simulating low-grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm [PDF]
Mucoceles, commonly observed in the appendix, are mucin-filled, dilated structures arising from a range of etiologies. Cases associated with dysplastic or neoplastic epithelium can rupture and disseminate within the abdominopelvic cavity. Similar lesions

A flexible liquid‐crystalline electrolyte membrane via in situ photopolymerization of a phosphate‐functionalized mesogen, ionic liquid, and diacrylate monomer is developed. The resulting smectic B (SmB)‐phase structure enables 2D ion transport with high conductivity (10−4 S cm−1).
