Expression and Clinical Significance of Cytochrome 1B1 in Bone Sarcomas
Background/Objectives: Cytochrome 1B1 (CYP1B1) is overexpressed in several cancers, contributing to carcinogenesis, cancer progression, and chemoresistance. Despite its known oncogenic role, its expression in bone sarcomas remains unknown.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Protein engineering of cytochromes P-450
The cytochromes P-450 are an immensely important superfamily of heme-containing enzymes. They catalyze the monooxygenation of an enormous range of substrates.

Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

The structure of protozoan cytochromes [PDF]
C-type cytochromes from two protozoa, Crithidia oncopelti and Kuglena gracilis. were purified and partly characterised. Crithidia cytochrome C557 and Euglena cytochrome C558 had certain atypical spectral characteristics. The sequence of amino acids in

We first identified functional murine mitochondrial N‐formyl peptides (MT‐FPs) and investigated their effects on the in vitro myeloid‐derived suppressor cell (MDSC) generation from bone marrow cells. We demonstrated that MT‐FPs acted directly on bone marrow cells to promote MDSC generation and modulated the polymorphonuclear (PMN)‐MDSC/monocyte (M ...

The Small RNA RyhB Is a Regulator of Cytochrome Expression in Shewanella oneidensis
Shewanella oneidensis produces an extensive electron transfer network that results in metabolic flexibility. A large number of c-type cytochromes are expressed by S.
