Behavioral and Physiological Response of Eucosma giganteana to Semiochemicals From Conspecifics and Silphium integrifolium

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 11, November 2026.
There was an increase in attraction by Eucosma giganteana to (E)‐8‐dodecenyl acetate in the field, which also elicited a higher antennal response in the laboratory. Female response to its host plant was high, but it was absent in males. Altogether, this study lays the foundation for deploying (E)‐8‐dodecenyl acetate in behaviorally‐based management IPM

Evaluation of Performance of a Polymer‐Based Fixative (FIXSCENT) on the Controlled Release Kinetics and Longevity of Top and Heart Notes of Alcoholic Perfume

open access: yesFlavour and Fragrance Journal, Volume 41, Issue 6, Page 1552-1562, November 2026.
Effects of varying concentrations of a polymer‐based fixative (FIXSCENT) were studied on perfume samples and the results indicated a sustained release pattern and a significant delay in the release of both top and heart notes upon addition of 5% FIXSCENT.
